In conjunction with Associate Editor and Editor-in-Chief, make final decisions on which pieces to accept for weekly publications. Serve as point of contact between journal and authors and facilitate minor edits and revision letters when needed.

VICE PRESIDENT AT UCF GRADUATE WRITERS' ASSOCIATION
The mission of the Graduate Writers’ Association is to cultivate a literary community at UCF and throughout Greater Orlando that embraces diversity in both form and content, and celebrates hybridity, experimentation, and genre writing. As Vice President, I serve as a liaison in organizing reading events, both for students and visiting authors.

GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT AT UCF DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH
Organize and execute a curriculum that explores the foundational elements of craft in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction for undergraduate students. Facilitate the growth of a literary community within the classroom by encouraging critical reading and responses to peer writing. Guide students in moving beyond simply "liking" or "disliking" a piece of writing.

ASSOCIATE FICTION EDITOR AT THE DODGE
Read and elevated promising fiction submissions to Genre Editor. Provided minor edits and letters of revisions for some accepted submissions. Worked with rest of the editing team in publication decisions, as well as general logistic decisions for the journal.

FICTION EDITOR AT CAKE: A LITERARY JOURNAL
Read and select submissions to be included in the Spring 2021 publication of journal. Operate CaKe social media accounts, serve as a point of contact for the organization. Contact various art and poetry organizations to recruit submissions. Organize and format writing selections for online publication. Design and publish organization website.

FLORIDA STATE COLLEGE AT JACKSONVILLE: WRITERS' RETREAT
Original short story selected from pool of candidates to participate in the first annual FSCJ Writers’ Retreat, an all-day writing workshop led by local authors and professors of the college. Deep discussion and dissection of submitted poetry and short stories in a round-table format.

JAX BY JAX LITERARY FESTIVAL
Selected to perform a reading of an original short story at the Jax by Jax Literary Festival, an annual literary arts festival hosted annually in Jacksonville, Florida that features several local published authors and student writers. Was featured as a writer on the Student Stage to represent FSCJ and Florida A&M University.
